Clenching?

Author: Michelle Jacobson

What are you holding onto? Wanta quit?

There are many things that we people hold onto. Some of them are more important than others.

What we believe is extremely important. It affects our entire lives.

It can start with kids. When kids get insulted awhile they tend to believe what they've been told more and more. Their actions follow that belief.

They do and say things that back that belief. If they think they are stupid they don't try anything that only "smart people" do. If they think that they are ugly then they try to hide themselves so people don't see them.

Based on years of experience, adults tend to be more watchful of what they're going to believe.

That sounds great but we do need to double-check and make sure that our thinking is actually backing the truth.

God is the truth
He loves you and would love to help you become better are and do better than you already have.

He wants you to give Him all our cares because He cares for you (1Peter 5:7).

Give Him Your Cares
Mentally giving it to Him is very important. If you're someone that would like a physical move to show yourself that you gave it away, do this:

1. Look at your clenched hand (make sure that your thumb's down around your fingers like a fist).

2. Put the top part (the hole) over your mouth. Breath into the hole.

3. With your mind's eye realize that you just released something from your body into your hand.

4. Take your hand away from your mouth. Twist your wrist so that you open your hand palm-up.

Letting Go
It has risen. God has taken it. He will take care of it because He cares for you!

Don't take it back!
It's too bad but sometimes we people don't let go easily. If there was something worrying you then chances are you wouldn't beg to get it again and again!

God said that He would provide all our needs in (Philippians 4:19). God said that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us, and if we know that He hears us then we will get what we asked Him for (1John 5:14,15).

Just let go of it! Quit clenching it and staying in bondage because of it! He's already said that He's taken care of you!

Don't wait! Read God's Word (the Bible) to find out more!
